Easy and Successful Brownies
Ingredients:
- 150 g butter
- 200 g good quality dark chocolate
- 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- 3 eggs
- 100 g granulated sugar
- Vanilla / pinch of salt
- 50 g flour
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare a 20×20 cm (8×8 inch) baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
2. Melt the Butter and Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and dark chocolate. Microwave in short bursts (20-30 seconds), stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
3. Add Cocoa and Coffee:
- Add the unsweetened cocoa powder and instant coffee to the melted chocolate and butter mixture, stirring until well combined.
4. Beat the Eggs and Sugar:
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the granulated sugar and vanilla/pinch of salt using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and frothy.
5. Combine the Mixtures:
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture. Stir gently until fully combined.
6. Add the Flour:
- Sift the flour over the mixture and gently fold it in using a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined.
7. Pour into the Pan:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
8. Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set and the top is shiny. The center should still be slightly moist.
9. Cool and Serve:
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into small squares. Serve and enjoy!
